Team Member Spotlight: Jenna

Hello friends! I'm Jenna! This summer I have the privilege to intern with Help Me Grow and help with care coordination, social media, and other tasks. It has been a great learning experience so far and I'm looking forward to what is ahead, including contributing to this blog!
I've never posted on a blog before, so this is definitely a new and exciting experience for me. With that being said, let me start by introducing myself!

I was born and raised in Eastern Utah in the city of Vernal where I attended Uintah High School. I grew up with three brothers which made for a childhood full of sporting events. I enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball and love to play volleyball and tennis! My mom made sure I had some variety, so she also placed me in dance and piano lessons! I'm a big fan of music, especially Coldplay. I love watching new movies and TV shows, with my new favorite being Parenthood. My favorite foods are popcorn, chips and salsa, and watermelon. I like funny YouTube videos, playing board and card games, reading, boating, dancing and singing along to the radio, and most of all being with my family.

After high school, I attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah and earned my Associates Degree. I loved every minute in that small town and have some of my fondest memories there. I spent the next 18 months in Fort Worth, Texas as a missionary for my church. I love the South, especially the people. That journey taught me so much about life and how to love others and yourself. It was during that experience meeting, interacting with, and teaching people on a daily basis that I began to develop a desire to help families.

I'm currently a student at BYU and graduate with my degree in Family Studies in August. I love learning about relationships and how to strengthen them. I think we could all agree that we want to be happy and successful in life, and I believe the key to that starts in our families. My hope is to help parents, spouses, children, and siblings see their potential and become the best they can be! I'm excited to be a part of a program that does just that!
