Team Member Spotlight: Miriam

Hola!

My name is Miriam and I am a Care Coordinator for Help Me Grow. I love my job and I love that I get to work with so many families. Today you get to learn more about me :).

Favorite Food:

Mexican food for sure! Bring on the tacos! (corn tortillas please, not flour) My parents are from Mexico so I grew up with homemade Mexican food...I know you all are super jealous now.
Favorite Sport: 

I love to watch any, as far as playing though….I am always willing, but I’m very uncoordinated...Ultimate Frisbee is always fun though! However, I do love going to the gym, hiking, and Zumba.
Favorite TV Show:

Friends. I’ve seen every season a billion times and I still laugh and cry. Any Friends Trivia game out there I would totally dominate.

Favorite Family Tradition:

Going on family trips every summer to California. I loooove our Utah mountains (great for hiking), but part of my heart loves the beach as well. Plus seeing extended family is always fun too.
Favorite Holiday:

4th of July. I love BBQs, lakes, fireworks, carnivals, and family time. It’s also my hubby’s birthday on the 3rd of July, so usually that week is a lot of fun.

Favorite Dessert:

Chocolate covered fruit...mmmm :)

Favorite Way To Treat Yourself:

Doing my nails. I love getting them done or buying new nail polish to do them myself. It really relaxes me and then my nails look cute!

Favorite Thing About Your Job:

I love that for work I get to learn different parenting skills and techniques and share them with the families I work with. To me being a parent is the most IMPORTANT job in the world. I’m not a parent yet, but I’m glad that I get to be a parent helper for right now.
